How Z-LASIK works

Step 1

First the Femto laser creates a thin flap placing a layer of gas bubbles at the intended depht within the cornea.

Step 2

Another laser, the Excimer laser, performs the vision correction. It ablates the corneal tissue according to unique pre-specified pattern of each patient. The flap is put back on ot's original position where it grows back quickly without stiches.
